When you decide to go forsessions which revolve around the book “The Diet Cure” by Julia Ross you have made a conscious decision to try the protocol described in the book “The Diet Cure” to help yourself feel healthier and happier with regards to your eating habits and your weight.
What I offer is to help you go through the questionnaires and keep you accountable to do the steps that you want to take to improve your wellbeing.
The Diet Cure is about getting of the Jo-Jo roller coaster and become healthier. When you are healthier your weight will come off. But first you need to get off the roller coaster of starving for weight loss and then gaining it all back again in an attempt to lose weight.
Once you are off the roller coaster we can discuss options for weight loss as I’m also offering those based on a traditional nutrient dense way of eating.
Anyone who is stuck in the rollercoaster of losing and gaining weight through a variety of diets and is fed-up with it and wants to stop that. You want to stop dieting and get healthy.
How will it go?

To get off the rollercoaster of starving yourself to weight loss and then gaining it all back again, and often some more, to try to lose weight. Usually the diets people put themselves through in order to find a way to lose weight are extremely unhealthy and leave you deficient of essential nutrient. The goal is to stop all that and become healthier. After that we talk about expanding on your goals to lose some weight. However, this will not be through dieting, but through a wholefoods, traditional, nutrient dense wholesome style of eating. One that will satisfy you and keep you healthy. A style of eating that will last you a lifetime.
The goal of the coaching sessions is to keep you moving forward and accountable, so that you get healthier.
The coaching will help you stay on track. You have email access to me between our appointments, so you can talk to me about issues you have. In general I think 1 meeting a month is likely enough, but when you feel the need for more frequent meetings, this is no problem at all.
You get to relax and enjoy food again. You will learn what dieting does to your body and how this creates deficiencies, which create cravings and undernourishment, which causes many health problems. So you will be able to eat healthy, tasty and wholesome foods again that will nourish you and keep you healthy.
You will start enjoying eating and life again and as a side effect you’ll become healthier again.
Weight is only secondary when it comes to health and the moment you are healthy your body will revert to its natural weight, which will not be overweight or obese. Our blueprint is not like that. Our blueprint is great. Our food supply and our eating habits have gone astray and need to change.
